This past President’s Day weekend, my family and I made our way up to Canada as a weekend away. The trip was filled with city visits, trail walking and of course eating.
Day 1
The first day included a ferry ride up to Victoria, which I haven’t visited many times and is somehow one of my favorite cities. As we arrived around 10:30 it was the perfect time for brunch.
We went to a place called Fuego and just the few blocks we walked to get there were the coldest and windiest I’ve experienced. I wore my camel coat from Topshop to combat the cold! If you want to transition to the spring then I have linked a trench coat but if you like the classic camel coat this one is a little more pricey but super cute.
The next four hours consisted of listening to music and podcasts in the car. But once we arrived to the Black Rock Resort my mom and I got a facial which was honestly so great after such a long car ride.
Day 2
This day was actually pretty relaxing. We ate breakfast and then went for some trail walks. I decided to just wear leggings with my light puffer for the beautiful walks.
I changed into one of my favorite outfits for dinner which included my suede jacket and polka dot blouse.
My suede moto jacket is from Nordstrom. The polka dot blouse is from Forever 21. The jeans are an old pair from Nordstrom and my sock booties are from Nordstrom (similar pair).
Dinner was amazing at the Shelter Restaurant!
Day 3
This day was mainly just travelling back home but before we left I had the best brioche pain perdu.
Thank you for reading my first blog post! I’m so excited to continue!
